On the first Sunday of April, everyone all around the world celebrates the holiday of Easter. Little kids wake up early in the morning to see what they get in their Easter Baskets, and see the eggs in the yard. Kids would dye or decorate eggs for the Easter bunny to hide. Do you ever wonder why the holiday easter came to be?

Easter started as a Christian holiday celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ. At first, the eggs were a sign of life and birth. In earlier times ”eggs were a traditional symbol of fertility and rebirth and were most likely to have been chicken or duck eggs, hard-boiled and painted in various colors and patterns.” People all around the world have built traditions off of this celebration.

In Germany, they celebrate the Anglon Saxson traditions. This included boiling eggs and painting the eggs to represent life. Easter lasts throughout the weekend for them and banks and other businesses are closed during these times.

France celebrates with everyone and doesn't leave anyone out. They mourn the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. The bells do not go off during this time period. The morning of Easter though the bells go off representing the rebirth of Jesus Christ. In the villages, they would kiss once the bells rang just like we would on new Year.

Many families all around the world celebrate in their unique ways. Some families go to church and others don’t. Easter is the day when families get together and do family activities for Easter. Even though different places do different things on Easter it is still celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Who doesn't love to game? Well actually sorry never mind that who doesn’t love entertainment

I love how you can pick multiple heroes and even sides throughout the entire Star Wars series

My Thoughts:

Today I am going to talk about a popular game that most people will know because of Star Wars, Battlefront 2. This game allows you to choose which group you are part of - empire or rebels. If your favorite group is the resistance, well, be the resistance; unless you want to be the dark side, how menacing. Well, the game involves an action pack adventure with Iden Versio and even instant action - where you attack or defend or battle for the whole field. You can even fight your friends. The biggest reason it is popular, is that you get to drive a WALKER. Well sorta...it's truly popular is because of the online game modes against other players. There are so many online and offline. The campaign is with Iden Versio, a first-order soldier, and you will have a joy ride playing through her adventure. I say the game is awesome. It is one of my favorites and I’m also a big Star Wars fan. I love how you can pick multiple heroes and even sides throughout the entire Star Wars series. It has AMAZING graphics and little to no glitches. The lightsaber duels take some serious skill, you can’t just go into a fight with some Jedi training!
