Hagerman Car Show

On Saturday 18, 2021, Hagerman Idaho had the annual September Car Show. When I went the park was filled withan estimate of over 100 vehicles. The most popular were cars from the 60s and 70s. Often they were mustangs and cameros. As you walked around the park full of sweet cars you couldn’t help but get hungry and have a gravelly stomach as you could smell the food venders. They left the crowd with many choices between fan favorites like elephant ears (giant scones), ¼ pound corn dogs, and delicous burgers and fries from the Coates food truck.

My favorite car was not technically in the car show, they were merely parked there. The car was a 2019 C8 Corvette, bright yellow. I liked this car the most because the inside reminded me of a jet, and I like sleek small cars.

As we were finishing walking around the hot park, with a vague smell of gasoline and food, there was a car spot that was surrounded by caution tape. The spot surrounded by caution tape did not have a car in it, instead it had 12 individual small american flags. The flags were to represent the military soldiers who died recently in Afganistan. Last of all, it had a sign that said, “The High Price of Freedom”.
