Jr High Vs. Castleford

96-0 Victory

I can tell the young Pirates are going to be having a good season already.

The Break Down

If you weren’t there to see the junior high football game on the night of Wednesday the 23 of September, I am here to tell you how it went.

On Wednesday, the junior high football team played against the Castleford Wolves with a blow out score of 96-0. At some points, the Wolves did get good yardage, but our defense was very impressive. I can tell the young Pirates are going to be having a good season already. Thank you to everyone who was cheering on the team, we are very thankful for your support for our teams. The players did very well with the team effort both on offense and defense.

Honestly, I feel pretty sorry for Castleford because they had some short players. I believe that two of their players were injured during the first quarter. Respectfully, our team kneeled for the injured players. Even our elementary players playing pass on the sidelines kneeled as respect, too. Good thing no one was severely injured, but it looked hurtful when one of the linemen fell on top of another player.

Great job to the junior high team, and good luck on your upcoming games. If you would like to read more about Pirate Football, feel free to check out the Football page. Thank you for reading, talk to you next time!
